Im getting a Corsa SRi in a month, as a co. car (not 100% by choice). I dont drive dangerously!

i like a lot of cars of many different makes from all over the world.

the majority of them being japanese, although i am fond of old skool US muscles, most of the ford RS cars, alfas the odd german tank and the aussie monsters, sorry ill get back to the point...........

what i likes is what i likes i suppose

not really fond of anything french though or built by vauxhall mainly as these are the prime targets for the 'least tastefully enhanced'

Although i lad i used to know has a 2ltr nova with nos and it kept up to my mates 3ltr carlton gsi, doin bout 150 and the nova wa still in front of us on way to scarborough!!! And it had 4 ppl in it.

Still a nova at the end of the day though

I'll tell you what cars I really hate...

and thats...

US rental cars...!! :ffs: theyre all huge, soft soggy saloons, with 2.0/3.0 engines that make a lot of noise when you push the accelerator... but dont actually increase speed any quicker than a snail...

Making them go around a corner is an exercise in futility...

the steering is so light you dont actually have to touch the wheel, just make gestures and the 'disturbed air' will turn it.. not that it will make any difference in the cars direction of travel...

Apart from the mustang they are all front wheel drive... and if you put more than 1lb of pressure on the accelerator from a standstill, the wheels will spin due to the narrow crappy tyres...

The mustang, which should be a fun car... is like driving a normal US rental car, with all the controls out of reach..

I hate all those Saxo's, Nova's and Corsa's. The worst thing is when you see a 1ltr Nova with a 5"exhaust thrashing it between speed bumps with the subs blasting out !Removed!-rage music with a rear window sticker saying "you've just been novataken". I mean come on, for gods sake, there's tacky and there's tacky and that's gotta be tacky!!

The pontiac sunfire. a few years old now, but they are quite nice and the handling aint to bad apperently. and the trans Am, its an American classic, but the grand am, its turkey.

American cars are so hit and miss, but on the whole I agree with your descriptions!

Micras, almost anything by Vauxhall (exceptions include Carlton & Monaro), Daewoos, Audi TT (such a designer's chiché), Bentley Continental GT, Volvo 340 & 440,otherwise decent cars with rubbish bodykits (BMWs, Mercs, etc.), Nissan Almera/Sunny, big 4x4s being driven by people who don't need them (Patrol, Discovery, etc.)

That's just for starters...

I drove a Matiz before my Yaris and it was a good little car - none of your Corsa/Saxo crud! It was actually made better and handled my personal crash test really well!

Dont like Corsas (the old shape!), Saxos (boy racer alert!) or Seicentos (car crash worst nightmare!) nor do I like big saloony type things like Omegas - I mean whats that all about? :D

Oh and big 4x4s especially those driven by women who just use them to take their kids to school!

Oh and HUGE mpvs - they're like vans for petes sake!
