Gen 8 Celica?

I am still looking at s/hand Gen 7 Celicas, but havn't taken the plunge yet.

A salesman I was talking to this morning suggested there may be a new model arriving in a few months time.

Has anyone heard if this is true or not.

I wouldn't want to buy one now if a newer version is due soon, as the s/hand values would surely plummet.

The salesman was trying to interest me in a Corolla T Sport. Any views/advice?

on the gen 8 we defo wont see anything until the tokyo motor show later on in the year, and to be honest 2005 is a better bet as the facelift model hasnt been out that long yet.
