Please help! Auris noise

Hi!

Hoping I can get some advice in regards to a noise coming from my Toyota Auris 2008, it seems to occur whilst turning left and then continues intermittently for some time! Its pretty loud and draws a bit of attention so I'm keen to get it fixed. One of my relatives is a mechanic and he couldnt diagnose the problem. Even after taking off and checking the break pads, the sounds seems to be coming from the right side underneath the car. I've also noticed that it seems to lessen when it's raining.

I've posted a recording of the noise below.

Many thanks!

Hi check the dust shield for front brakes, if bent or damaged they can rub of tie rods or brake disc and cause loud noise.

My car had similar grinding noise for a year, went toToyota service 3 times, no help, only to find myself that it was dust shield. It is so soft I bent it back by hand.

Hope your problem is similar.

regards

Since you mentioned that when it rains, it remedies the issue a bit, maybe there is lack of proper lubrication on brake pads/caliper.
