lad just wandering does it matter what way the pollen filter is fitted the one under the glovd box it has differant sections on it so not sure does it matter . its in a 2000 corolla.

Depending on the make, they often have 'top' marked to enable correct installatioin

no i understand that but there is 3 parts to it and there stepped im just wandering does ut matter wether there facing in or out

Does yours look like this ..?

Would have thought it must be clear how it refits as surely that shape will match the area it slides in to ..?

Again would have thought the area with the Top or the air direction Arrow markings would be on the front on the unit facing you ?

yes that is. no i know that the piece that has the notch takeing out of the middle there goes in first but i dont know should it be say facing the left or right if your understand me?

also one of ye might no the answer to this or point me in the right direction please. would the 1.8 vvti engine from a celica bolt straight into the corolla 2001 which already has the 1.4vvti. ino the 1.8 vvtli wont fit but not sure about the vvti

The foam end goes towards to the back end so you push it in to compress the grey foam end. Hope that makes sense.
