There is scheduled to be a pilot scheme for a graduated driving licence scheme for new drivers in Northern Ireland during 2019/20, which, if successful, could later be introduced in the UK. That's interesting, looking forward to results. In my country it's quite the opposite, new drivers are mostly quite competent while the ones doing stupid **** all the time are the guys who got their license just by showing up on the exam day 20 years ago.
