Air con light off

The air con has stopped working - when I push the button in, it stays in the 'on' position, but no light comes on and the air con doesn't kick in. However if I push the button in harder and hold it down, it starts working (but only for as long as I hold the button down for). I was wondering if anyone could help me narrow the problem down in case it is something I can fix myself. Thanks!

Faulty switch, common fault, easy fix, about £20 for a new one and 2 mins to change it

Yeah, as Bike_loon says, easy enough to replace. You can get one on Toyota's official eBay site:

Mine has done this again has it regassed and new switch fitted 6 months ago and now have same fault again is this normal?
