Rear Of My 98 Sienna Thumps Over A Dip

When i drive over dips at considerable speeds, 10+ mph, the rear of my sienna makes a loud thump near the tires. I have replaced hte shocks, but the problem still exists. Could anybody help me with any suggestions of other causes of this thump?, i thought it might be the coil spring, but my friend says that it shouldn't be the case. Any comments/suggestions would help, Thank you very much.

Have you checked the anti-roll bar links? The links holds the rear arb to the suspension on both sides. One of them may be loose/split. (but I would have thought this would have been noticed when the shocks were swapped) One of the mounting brackets along its length may also be loose.

Both of my '86 Corollas had split/corroded links.
