My Mark X Zi0 is lumped in with the Corolla range. It really baffles me as wheelbase, width, height, are much larger than a same year Corolla.

It also has a Camry 2.4, and also can have a V6. Strangely no Hybrid was produced, but it does have ample space for the system.

When researching reviews on my car read the Dog And Lemon review where the Mk X was lumped in with the Corolla. Review on all the Corolla range was brutal, but the Mark X was exempt.

Again I do not understand the reasoning why a Mk X is lumped with Corolla when it has absolutely nothing in common with the range.

(Yes, do know about the Wish, but looks like a mini version of the Previa)

In the past when models shared a platform and before the modular platforms were introduced, the platforms were a similar size (eg. the earlier Golf/Leon/Octavia/A3). However, according to Wikipedia, Toyota's definition of platform is more about shared development rather than common hardware. For example the Mark X ZiO has the MC platform, which in different sizes is also used by the following:

So given Toyota's different defininition, presumably  this is where your motoring press has got it wrong.
