I have just received my new Prius Excel to replace my Auris Hybrid. The manual says the MFD can change from Simple or Split view, I dont have that option?

Does anyone know the latest map\software version for the Touch 2 and go, mine says 2017 v2, and software version 6.10.0WH

Many thanks

Jim

Do you need to update your profile to include the Prius.

The last update I did recently was version 6.11.0WH.

To use the split view display you have to turn off Road Sign Assist, you can't have RSA and split view at the same time. IMO RSA is a waste of time anyway, it only reads speed limits and it's not accurate, it throws up anomalies like 180 mph speed limits etc.

You also need to turn on the split view in the settings page with the right hand steering buttons (if it's not already on).

The split view is also suspended if you select the speed limiter, which steals the space to show the icon and speed selected.

I wholeheartedly agree. It can be right, but I found it wrong more often than not. It reads the speed limit signs on the back of vehicles. For example, here in the UK we get some European vans and lorries with the speed they're limited to on the back in KM/h. They look just like miniature speed limit signs, but they would always fool my car into thinking the limit was 100, or similar. It would also always pick up signs on the exit roads from roundabouts (a common place for new speed limit signs), which sucked if it wasn't on the exit you were taking. I turned it off.
