No, this isn't happening. I'm meant to go to Hong Kong in 14 hours and I just found out my passport is expired.

Now my dream of going to Japan seems to be slowly fading..

Well I can't get a renewal at the moment cos it's like 12am

Well worse comes to worse I might just have to change the date on the flight depending on how much it is and then get my passport renewed....

last time that happened to me was for a business trip, luckily live in newport with a big passport ofice so went in, had a chat with the guy at the counter and got a replacement passport within the hour, maybe worth doing a run to the passport office first thing in the morning.

i'm in manchester, the office is in liverpool..... so it's pretty much out of the question.

I didnt know HK was in Japan... must have a misprint in my Atlas

That's what I've done, just that the flight was at 2pm and I got there around 10....so not enough time.

Good news is that I'm giong next Wednesday :D

yup yup! 4 hours wait though so had to get flight rescheduled
