Auris 2.0d 2007 loosing oil into water

Hi, I think I know the answer but just in case.

I have a 2007 2.0l Auris diesel, the car engine pulls really well with no problems at all. However the car is now loosing loads of oil into the water, I can't see an oil cooler on the car and that leaves me with the option that it is the head gasket. Before I start going down the head gasket route, is there an oil cooler on the car and if so where, also is there any other known problems on the engine that may push oil into the water, such as a gasket on the water pump. The car pushes about 1 litre of oil into the water every 200 miles!

Any help would be great

Thanks Wozzza
