Just been on the toolbox site, was thinking of updating maps, bit confusing, it says I can udate maps for £109 (i Think) but looking further down the download page it states that.. if your software version is 2,12,5 or higher you can dowload the maps, my software version on my 2013 Auris is 2.7.4L, does that mean I cannot download it at all or do they mean you get it free if your software version is later, Also like to know when you do a map update does it update all the softwarwe as well.

I did this on my wife's 2012 Avensis a few weeks ago. When installing the map it updates the software for free at the same time.

Thanks.. did you encounter any problems downloading and installing or was it smooth.

It all went smoothly. It just takes a while to download all of the files from the Internet (nearly an hour in my case I think) then perhaps another 20-30 minutes sat in the car with the engine running while the satnav installs the files from the USB stick. Not difficult but not something to do if you're in a hurry!
