toyota avensis t27 key detected in car while driving

Has anyone resolved a key detected in car fault, which includes beeping sound , central locking pulled in , plus flashing indicator and warning light, would grateful for any help

Can you give us some indication of the circumstances? Also some info on trim level?

Normally you would get this when you try to lock the doors with a smartfob still in the car.

A faulty door pin switch can cause this, you unlock the car open the door but the faulty switch means the car does not "See" this this so it assumes the unlocking was by mistake and tries to relock itself it then "see's" the key in the car and gets all confused que beeps, warning lights etc.

To check unlock and open the drivers door remotely, does the dash display show an open door warning?
