hi guys

new used aygo+ (07) owner here 🙂

picked mine up today from a local independant dealer. bodywork is in pretty decent condition overall but did notice rear wheel arch/bumper loose just on one side which i didn't see when checking over. damn. first picture shows what it is like in normal use. second picture shows what it is like if i gently pull out. the dealer did various checks before sale not sure whether this would have been included in their checks. so anyway

firstly is it safe to drive? secondly if not, what am i looking at repair wise? i could take it to a toyota dealer nearby in a few days but thought i'd ask here first for some advice.

Hi, and welcome to the forum. My advice would be to take it to your Toyota dealer. From your photos it looks to me like the part of the bumper you mention may just be held on by clips and - if so - they have in some way failed. Without personally inspecting it there's no way I could tell if it could be fixed.  You should however be aware that to drive a vehicle which a police officer has reason to believe has dangerous bodywork can result in a fine and points. I'm not for one minute suggesting that it is dangerous, but best to get it to Toyota or the dealer you bought it from at the earliest opportunity for a hands on inspection and repair.
