How to dim the centre console?

I've found the dashboard dimmer, I can see how to adjust the brightness of the touchscreen but can the general centre console lights be adjusted? Couldn't find anything in the manual that covers this.

Not as far as I'm aware - not separately to the instrument lighting.

I can't find the dashboard dimmer on my car - couldn't find a mention in the User Guide or User Manual.  Where did you find your dimmer Chris?

With the side/headlights on, press the dashboard button on the right, where you'd select between Odo, Trip A, B. With the lights on, you'll now see an extra option which is the dimmer. Press and hold to get the next level dimmer and so on. Once you've reach the lowest point, the next press/hold will take you back to maximum.

Thanks very much Chris.  Although I've had my for Auris 6 months I've not had any reason to use it at night!
