Day time running lights.

Hi guys,As new cars these days are fitted with day time running lights i thought i would buy a kit and fit them.

In the kit you get the lights (of course) .and a relay harness which has an on off function.

Looking at the lights you have to screw them on some where but,i dont fancy drilling holes in the car.

Then i had a thought.Is it possible to fit the relay harness to my side lights ?.

Would it do any damage if i wired up the side lights the way the running lights are wired ?

The sidelights would still need to be operational for evenings and nighttime.
