Right, hoping to sell my xbox and buy a 2nd hand gamecube with the money.

Also selling a few other goodies to pay for an inverter for the gamecube as i want it in the car, the question is:

what wattage inverter should i buy, i want it to be able to power a gamecube and a tv?

a normal proper TV or an actual in car unit???

if just the games machine then approx 330ma inverter is best as there will be ample power

to run a tv your gonna need at least 700ma inverter and thats when they get expensive

I *think* a 300watt would run an Xbox easy .. so 600 should be a better buy for future proofing ..

300 is good for a PS2 etc..... but the more the merrier with inverters

using a 600 would mean its only doing half the work its capable of and they can get pretty warm when worked hard

That was my thought .. and I know if you are running a "Motor" like a buffer or a fan etc .. you'll need a higher Wattage.

600 should be big enough to run any thing you need really ..

yes 24v is for trucks and things like tranny vans that use twin Battery systems

all cars run on 12v

LOL - glad I can help mate .. think it's 3-5 days delivery .. should give you plenty of time to get it fitted for JAE ..

I'm thinking of putting mine in the Battery area and then putting a 4 plug block in the passenger footwell ..

just for info too breez

mine is mounted behind one of the side panels in the rear where theres plenty of fresh cool air and hardwired direct to the Battery

switch has been reloctaed on the panel for easy operation and the cable sneakes out the bottom of the panel for plugging in
