How to Switch on power without engine starting hybrid in garage

I don’t think the engine will start if neutral is selected. However if your using any equipment on car fed from the hv Battery the Battery will not be recharged until engine is started. 

Hope this is true, I’m sure someone will say if it’s not.

Don't put you foot on the brake pedal when pressing the start button if I remember correctly.

I think there are 2 levels of "on" depending on how many times you push the button.

You will be discharging the small 12V Battery in this mode, not advisable for anything more than very short periods.

As said above, dont press the brake, just press the button. If you press the button once, you get radio, press it again, you get all electrics.

Press it 3rd time, it shuts it all off.
