i know there aren't many mate. obviously most people drfit em, or whatver, so they tend to be on drifting or rallying sites. is yours standard, or do you compete with it as well?

ive got a starlet sitting on my drive its got an 18rg in the back waiting till i finish my mk1 escort-4age then i will build the starlet.my mates got one too we put a 1300 in his at the weekend, welded the diff, he wont pay out for cams and stuff-loser! whats in yours- please dont say pinto!!!

I have a RWD Starlet!!! Well, in fact i've got 2 :P

Both with starlet engines, one with 4k, which i run on the road every day & one i'm re-building that'll have a 5k which'll hopefully be used for road rally's/track days, whats your plan for yours?

its running about 170 bhp B) .Yes i know that harris starlet :D ,i have raced it up the pod before we both ran 12.1s .. golden wonder my plan is sideways everywhere and maybe some track days :P .

i know this aint my car but there are 2 RWD starlet rally cars over here that i know are puttin out about 240bhp but one is runnin a 2.4cosworth engine and mkll running gear dont know wat is in the other.

12.1 on 170hp is well good! do you know what yours weighs all in? what crossmember/front suspension do you use and are you using an escort axle?

i stopped and looked at a nice starlet round the corner from me, it had the stockrod kit ( i think thats what its called) the arches and skirts, im gonna leave a note on it ask where he got the kit, i was gonna put mk2 escort works arches on mine but lookin at that im not sure.

I snapped a picture of this little fella at Bromley Pageant this year...looks standard at first glance - until you spot the bonnet bulge anf the F*rd grille Badge...there's a 2.8i under the bonnet!

Hey kevharris , you say you have a 5k with twin carbs?

I'm in the process of building a trackday toy with a 5k, was wondering where you got the inlet manifold for the twin carb set up, or is a custom/home made set up?

I found corolla estate with 3K-B, uses twin downdrafts, but modified manifold to suit twin carbs from corolla sr [2T-B?]. Twin sidedraft manifolds available in Malaysia.

hi im only new on here, im from ireland and drive an 84 RWD starlet 5k. she has mk2 forest arches and full ae86 interior, superlites and janspeed and 4 cibies, sprayed toyota blue. some may have seen it in reders rides in retro cars last month im looking to get a 4 branch, cam and few other bits, anyone steer me in the right direction i cant find any parts for my 5k
