Hi Pat, welcome to TOC 🙂

Have you checked the oil level/when was the oil changed?

thanks Heidfirst ror the welcome and response,  the oil level is correct and oil was changed 3000km ago, I have read elsewhere that the "Oil Maint" comes on just to indicate that the appropriate oil change interval mileage is exceeded,  are there other factors that trigger it?

I got the notification when oil level was too high because of dpf problems on my old 2011 1.4 D4D Auris.

this is what I was getting at - diesel getting into the oil from the DPF & raising the oil level can trigger a warning.

I had the same issue recently, but it resolved itself "automagically" after a while. Oil level is neither too high nor too low. Maybe just a glitch?

Just an update, I got the DPF checked and it was ok, I changed oil and filter and issue is resolved, not sure why because oil level seemed ok before change,  I was told by a Toyota mechanic since that it probably was the oil level as it would take very little extra oil to cause the warning. Anyway I've done over 1000KM since and all is good.  Thanks for all the help.
