The TS original ones I mean, the only time you knew that they were on was being close to any object that reflected the light. The replacements have more coverage as in sideways as well as distance.

Changed them in the TS to brighter ones from Toyota.
Not had much choice for the HIR2 type

Ah

I would prefer non-oem

Brighter, cheaper and branded

 

But, as experience shown me, the BRIGHTER they are, the shorter life span on my Auris - or maybe, its just me 😞

I would have got them elsewhere, but sadly some of the other places want £40 for 1 bulb and still it’s guess work as to what your getting for your money.
Chose Toyota as it was £60 for the pair, plus I thought if there was issue, then I could just go back to Toyota.
