2005 Corolla sub brake assembly rear

Hi All

I have a 2005 corolla hatch estate with rear drum parking brake. Disc as main brake.

It is almost impossible to find a backing plate 46503-02020 original part number

So are there other models that are disc only rear . Swap the whole rear axel or convert to disc parking brake calliper ?

Any ideas or info.

Can only suggest calling some scrap yards to get you one where they'll go and take one off for you. Or there is the option of asking a Toyota dealer if they can have one spare from any jobs they do; they sometimes won't charge for it on the premise you'll come back at some point.
