Code P1238, sticky injector?

So I have been having starting and idling issues along with intermittent problems with smoking at idle. The symptoms returned today and although I had no EML I decided to run a scan. I had a pending code (intermittent fault) P1238 which I know is related to injector malfunction. Some days I have no issues and some days like today I have. Would this point at a sticky injector? The car has sat about 4 weeks before I got it so I have got Fueltone additive in it but my mechanic has advised to try Forte additive and see how I get on.
