Bumper!

Okay i tried 2 take of my front bumper 2day but it wasn't happenin! Could sum1 give us a rough guide on how 2 do this? I took 2 bolts, the 1's under the wheel arch off and the clip where u open the bonnet but there is 2 more bolts 2 undo but i can't seem 2 get 2 them!!! :ffs:

Is the non-colour coded part i want off!

I think (and I'm not tatally sure about this) that you have to remove the greay bit and the painted piece underneath as one part and then take then to pieces. Other than that I'm not really sure...

Thats wild if its true! Anyone else have anymore info on this? Someone must have removed the bumper before? Jaxx u have after ur crash rite?

take it all off in one piece.... wheel arch bolts.... clips behind the grill.... then a row of 10mm under holding the splash gaurds and plastic flap bits hanging down... :thumbsup:

Woooof! Sounds like alot of work 4 so little! So ur sayin both bottom bumpers should come off just with the 2 bolts under the arch and the clips behind the grill?

do what i did......

drive and hook the bumper on to a tow bar

then reverse

it just pops off..... no screws or bolts, us clips

yea nice an easy

jus popped back into place

and then with the aid of a screwdriver, tucked the wheel arch trims back behind the bumper

could never tell it had been pulled off

if u do not have a tow bar handy i find if u reverse over a bollard and get it wedged under ur front bumper, if u reverse a bit more it comes of no hassle(sp)

and when ur done to get it back on give it a kick!!!

job done!!winner!

Got it done people and thanks 4 the help, looks much better now but i just need 2 get the back bumper colour coded, so if any1 see's 1 at a scrappy or on e-bay drop us a line!

Not that u shouldnt have it, as its a sweet piece of software

jst takes time mate like everything, i use it all the time and learning new tricks and improving all the time, its a god send it u ask me

I have been using it since version 5.0 ... but not continuously.. most of my photoshopping stuff is trial and error... a bit of luck ;)
