Toyota Corolla Automatic T2 D4D 2007

Hi,

While driving my Toyota there is this beep=beep sound, but no flashing warning sign. Then while on speed the car goes on Neutral and stops. After detaching the negative lead to the Battery and reattaching it again, the car starts driving until suddenly it goes on neutral again and I have to repeat the above. Why am I getting this beep and why the car goes on neutral, while driving. Is it a gear problem or something to do with resetting the electronics of the car, it's automatic. Please, can you help me with some advice as I am unable to find the right mechanic. Txs.

I believe there was a Recall on the Clutch and Clutch Actuator for this problem? Not sure if it applies to this year and model. It may be worth taking it along to your local Toyota dealer to ask them to check this against your Car's VIN number.
