If the unthinkable happens

I've just taken delivery of a Toyota Aygo Xclusiv 2018 .... what if the unthinkable happens ......when the car has been stood for a couple of months ..&  when I arrive home to use it the Battery is dead  & my transponder won't unlock the door so I can gain access to the bonnet release ..ok there is a key in the transponder but where does it fit in order to gain access?

A pop-off cover on the driver's door handle that conceals a normal door lock underneath ?

I doubt a brand new Battery would be dead after only two months?

Thanks... I've just seen that key socket on drivers side handle......I seem to come across very dim at times I was standing in front of the passenger side when I was thinking about that situation 🤭😵
