Toyota Auris Estate 2016+ vs Toyota Prius 2015/16

Hi guys. Not sure wether to put this in auris section or prius section so i have put this here.

Currently have a vw passat as a taxi but now looking to get a toyota hybrid. I have been reading reviews but still cant decide. The auris estate is winning because of the bigger boot. But whats lettong it down is some reviews are saying the auris has less specs thsn the prius in the dash and some basic things are missing like out of date infotainment while the prius has newer and better infotainment. My budget is £15,000.

MPG: i will be doing 100-150 miles per day. 70% local + 30% motorway. Which has better MPG?

Comfort: i have had alot of people scare me about going from a vw to a toyota. Is the ride as rough as it sounds or are they as comfortable as my passat?

Any other details or help please?

The head unit in the Auris and the Prius will be Toyota's Touch 2 and are basically the same. With both one can add satellite navigation.

Ride quality, as with any car, can be affected if one goes for the 17 inch wheels which comes with lower profile tyres.

As regards an idea of fuel consumption, have a look at the Honest John Real mpg pages.

I would also compare rear headroom between the Prius & the Auris TS.

The Auris is the cheaper, more "normal" car. The Prius should do better mpg.
