hey ive just got a supra so dont no much bout it yet and wondering if u can tell if u can tell if its a

jza70 or 80 without lookin at the chassis plate oh and wat clutch is good for 400bhp and good for drag thanx.

mate if you have an older model it willbe a jza70 ie h plate - i think the older models go up to a j plate - and if you have an L plate or later this will be a jza80 - you have mentioned yours is a twin turbo and i think this is only on the mark 4s so yours would be a JZA80. The current clutch is good for 400 bhp but upgrading is sometime a good idea anywhy as you wont stop at 400 bhp once you start - supra as standard is a very hard wearing car anyway - do you have any mods on it already

yeah i thot that, my clutch is slipping so thinkin bout the orc twin plate(iam in hong kong and found somewhere with tht in stock) is it good thanx

suprstar, you can get the twin turbos in the mk3's as well.. one being the JZA70 2.5tt, and the other the GA70 2.0tt. The JZA70 2.5tt engine is basically a mkiv engine with shorter stroke... in the UK you can get them on K plates.

Supratoy, if yours has pop up lights and a 2.5 twin turbo engine, its the JZA70. If its a 3.0 Twin turbo with the rounded nose.. its a JZA80.

it just wen i was gettin sus ppl where sayin u can get 70 in the mk iv model so i was just askin cos i thot the 70 was the mk 3, so no one no bout that clutch
