Hey guys!

Is anyone able to confirm if this is the type of windshield hose valve that Auris (2014) has?

Washer is not spraying in front, but working for lights and back. Dont have access to the car now but suspect it’s the valve that needs replacement?

i would remove the valve and connect the supply pipe directly to the washer jets

just to prove water is getting through if that works then get a replacement  non return valve.

you can get a straight connector from a local motor factors .

As Eygo says, a replacement valve is cheap and easy to obtain if needed.

Of course, with the cold weather coming, that bit might just have frozen hence no flow. Yesterday didn't get above -1 at work!

Is it not under warranty

As the OP is outside the UK, the new car warranty is probably the standard 3 year/100,000km.

Ah ok, out of curiosity why is the uk warranty 5 year and rest of Europe 3 year/100000 mile

because Toyota GB decided for marketing purposes to bear the cost of the extension to the standard EU warranty.

Toyota EU standard warranty is 3 years/100,000km - UK is 5 years/100,000 miles.

To whoever wondering, found this kind of valve.

Not sure if original.

In 2010 in the US, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) held an investigation into a number of road traffic accidents featuring Toyota vehicles, which included some fatalities. The investigation didn't find any specific fault which caused the fatalities. However a worldwide recall ensued relating to the accelerator pedal in some models, including the Auris.

In order to bolster customer confidence in Toyota, Toyota GB introduced the 5 year/100,000 mile new car warranty for vehicles sold by them in the UK - the five year new car warranty was effective for vehicles first registered on and after 1st June 2010.

From what i can find on the internet this looks more like a Volvo valve, and like you said Eygo, no arrows visible on this one.

Bit confusing this was on the car.
