Air Hose

Would there be much harm in removing the hose that goes from the filter box to the right side of the bonnet? (i.e. the one u'd remove to fit and induction kit) Car just sounds so much cooler without it! lol.

not really do any harm but the engine will just drag in hot air which will dumb down the power of the engine

your choice at the end of the day mate

wow that was a quick reply! cheers, also, any advice in replacing the filter with a performance filter? k&n dont seem to do one for an '03 yaris and the green cotton one i got quoted £53.40 which is a little much imho. Would be looking to pay at most around £25. any suggestions?

i think the KN panel filter is approx £35

The K&N Panel Filter for my Phase 1 TS cost me around £50 from Demon Tweeks. It had to be importesd from the US as they only had ones for the 1.0 & 1.3 in the UK.

does that bit of pipe really make a difference to the sound???? i may remove ours and see as the bonnet vent will make sure it gets cool air lol

Makes a hell of a difference, its the Colour Collection Blue, I might check it against my friends yaris (his is an X reg) to see if there is any difference. Ill get a pic next time a get a chance
