I've Ordered My Prius!

Well, I've decided to take the plunge and went to my local Toyota dealer in Bath and ordered myself a black T4 Prius.

Unfortunately, I don't think I got the best part-exchange deal and I also have to wait until mid-September for my Prius to arrive, but I'm quite excited by the prospect of a shiny new car :D . I did get some free carpet mats thrown in, so it's better than nothing.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who replied to my previous posting(s) of questions, and a big thank you to Malc (Braindead) for offering to give me a short demo of the car when we met up last Saturday. I was really impressed by the drive and the car sold itself - Malc couldn't help showing his enthusiasm for it. I also decided on the lovely black colour, even though I have a big penchant for metallic blue (my last cars have all been metallic blue :)

I have one small question now regarding my Powershift Grant which arrived today. Apart from sending off the 'Confirmation of Order' form, I also have to send a copy of the vehicle order. Is it okay to send a photocopy, or do I have to send my copy?

Ha! I could tell by the grin on your face when you got out after our drive on Saturday that you'd do it.

I'm betting September seems a heck of a long way off! But it will be worth it.

I ordered a Jade Green on 25 May and was quoted a 10 month delivery The dealer couldnt show me the colour as he didnt have the new Prius colour samples.

Last week I saw the colour at another dealer, and I think it should be called Grotty Grey :( So back to my dealer and asked if it was still possible to change the colour to the blue.

When he got off the phone to Toyota dealer support he said there would be one ready for me towards the end of September Very happy.
