Oil dipstick

i pull the oil dipstick to check engine oil level while i put it in the hole i flip it to the another way and i put it in the hole i would like to know if there any problem putting the dipstick at any side

the difference between each side that; there's side the high and low points is popup on the surface while the another side the points flat on surface

I would say no problem, a raised pimple or a dent, they just markers and as long as oil does not exceed the high mark nor be below the lower mark you are ok- though I would make sure the oil level is always nearer the top mark then the lower mark.
