Can anyone tell me what the normal maintenance is for the Semi-Automatic Gear Box from my Auris 2010.

I cant find anything.

I think its using the brake fluid for shifting and this must be changed every 2 jears.

Can anyone help me how to fix this?

Thanks.

It is a recommendation that brake fluid is changed every two years but it will not be in your gearbox.

If it's a MMT then it is an automated manual gearbox. i.e. a conventional 'box with electricly operated clutch and gear changes, all computer controlled.

Whether it has the same oil as a non automated version, I wouldn't know but it is doubtful that brake fluid is in there.

I tought its a electric /hydraulic unit that operated the clutch and gear changes.

And the hydraulic part use the brake fluid to move.

But I don't know 100% sure

In the gearbox is the same oil as in the manual gearbox.

hi marcel

it is the same oil as a manual gearbox as the gearbox in your mmt is a manual gearbox

its just the gear change that is automated.

" I tought its a electric /hydraulic unit that operated the clutch and gear changes."

No hydraulics as far as I know. Just glorified wiper motors.

You right I saw it on the internet no oil inside I think I saw a old model. The gear box is not a smooth one

but the thing I don t like  about  the gearbox it shift back to the first if you still drive 20-25km/h

this is also in the M or in the E.

With a normal manual gearbox you only shift back to first gear if you standing still .

Is there any way to make this happen or with Techstream? or anything else?

I want to adjust it .shift from first to second (quick 10-15 km/h) and only shift back to first if you standing still.

hope any body can help me.

Thanks and have a nice weekend.
