Alarm Problem

Got a problem with my UK factory fitted alarm on a 1996 Celica GT.

Everything seems to work OK but the siren doesnt sound, If I open the boot or doors with alarm set the hazard lights flash but there is no sound.

If anybody could help I would be most grateful.

I havent a clue where the siren is situated as wondered if a wire had come loose but dont no where the hell to find it.

Someone must be able to help.

You need to turn it on, Get the little round key and insert it into the back of the alarm box under the bonnet on the right.

Steve ,the factory fit alarm on the gen 6 celica does not have a round key to turn it off or on, sounds like the unit could be faulty.

With the bonnet open, look down under the Battery ,thats were the alarm unit is mounted, check all the connection thats about all you can do.

Have you ever replaced the batteries in the hand set ? worth a try, if not its a trip to Toyota.
