Paseo Manual

Where may I find a repair manual for a 1992 Toyota Paseo? I have used Haynes manuals in the past and love them. However, they do not make a Paseo manual. Is any other model of Toyota with similar components to a 1192 Paseo? I just really don't want to fork out big bucks for the factory manual.

is this any help to you?

old post

the site was no help. i already have that CD. it's too technical. i'm really looking for a manual with a trouble-shooting guide like Haynes has. I have a clunking in my steering column when I turn left from a stand-still or do a tight turn at less than 5 mph. I really need that troubleshooting guide.

NEW QUESTION:

What Toyota is most similar to the 1992 Paseo? Tercel, carolla?

They don't do Haynes manuals hence the previous post.

Tercel shares the 5EFE engine & quite a few other bits & pieces along with the Starlet, Corolla and Sera, but again no-one makes manuals for them either, other than the one's toyotasera.co.uk managed to get hold of which he did have for sale at one point.

Could your problem be related to the power steering belt? Just an idea...

Could also be a bent back plate? Have the wheels been off recently?

Had this problem on mine.

AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

I started hearing the sound right as I turned the wheel to drive out of the Wal-Mart Tire, Lube, Express parking lot. I just had the tires rotated and balanced. GGGRRRRRR!!!!

That'll be what it is then.

Easy fix - the plate just needs bending back - lazy mechanics for you!
