No 'N' after Aygo MMT clutch change.

I used techstream to clamp before removal. Changed clutch, no issues. Put gearbox back on, rebuilt. The clutch literaly had nothing left on it and had completely failed. Before I took it apart, the 'N' would flash. I observed when I first turned the car back on that it was in '5'. I used to techstream to learn new parts. I couldn't complete the learning as ignition couldn't be started due to it not being in neutral (stick was in neutral position though) Upon turning car back on, the section that displays what gear you are in is blank.  Any help?
