EPB auto release on Avensis multidrive 2009 -2011

As the title says, does the auto version has auto release EPB like the manual. My owners manual only makes reference to manual cars.

I can understand why, since auto cars don't need to use the parking brake when driving. The car holds itself and shouldn't roll back on a hill during a hill start.

Thanks Lee. You confirmed what suspected but wasn't sure. Somebody asked me, because they thought the EPB was faulty. They had read one of my posts.
