I have a 2014 Yaris 1.33 voting. Does anyone else suffer from left off side wheel spin, or if not what causes it. I am a new driver

Is it just the left (nearside) or the right (offside) as well?

Moved to the Yaris club.

Hi,  that is indicative of a worn shock absorber.. Give a firm sharp press on front wing. If it 'bounces' then it's goosed, if it just comes back up and sits, then your problem lies elsewhere.

Another possibility is a very worn tyre, or a c*ap make of tyre with terrible grip.  Are both the front tyres same make with similar degree of wear?

I had similar issue recently, I couldn't tell which front tyre was at fault, but I would often get a spin wheel even on 2nd gear and struggle to keep grip when going around roundabouts. My previous tyres were at least 2 years old, if not older, with some 3-4mm thread left on them but I've replaced them both and now I get loads of grip.

How old are your tyres?
