Hi guys, just got a new 2019 Toyota Yaris Icon Tech which has door mirrors I can control electrically from the inside but I can’t work out how to fold them in!! They don’t seem to do it automatically on this spec but I gently pushed and they don’t seem to be manual! Any help for this simpleton greatly received! Sarah 🙂

Hi Sarah, welcome to TOC 🙂

Does your mirror adj. panel look like this? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2015-TOYOTA-YARIS-HYBRID-POWERFOLD-ELECTRIC-MIRROR-SWITCH-556-/201983342863

If so, the top right button to the right of the L/R rocker is the fold switch but the ignition needs to be in Acc. or the engine running to provide power.

p.s. do you have the full manual for your car, not just a Quick Start? It should be downloadable foc from Toyota via MyToyota.

Hi! Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! No it doesn’t have that extra button. Just the L/R and the D-pad. The manual says if the mirrors are manual push them in but if they’re not then press a button?

It's new so u have to push with some force to begin with. I know u don't want to break it, I had another new car before and had to use quite a bit of force to manually fold it.
