Leverage - I used impact socket and an 18" lever. We've also got an impact gun, but didn't use that.

Inspect and clean the rear drums, It's either the rear shoes or the cable has stretched, what is the actual wording on the fail sheet ?

Mk1 or Mk2 aygo ?

Hi managed to do my pads and discs this morning with lots of wd40 and a long bar on the socket thanks for all the suggestions from everybody.

To be fair, I've always done the brakes myself, but there's a torx screw on the disc that is a proper PITA to remove especially when (not if) it strips. If I took it to the dealer I'd fully expect to pay £150 just to take that damn screw off!!

Thanks for this tip , I banged a hammer with screwbit on it with some oil , with a little ratchet came off a treat 🙂
