Phone - sound awful on brand new Yaris

The sound for the receiver is awful when using the phone on my brand new Yaris.

It is fine in the car but people receiving my calls are finding it virtually impossible to hear what I am saying.

Is this a common fault or should I take it into the dealer?  TIA.

Assuming you have no furry toy animals, or anything else, obstructing the microphone in your Yaris, and you are talking loud enough, I would let the dealership handle the problem.

I take it you have already found the mic volume control in settings? (and tried adjusting it...)
