Well patch my pancakes 🥞 looks like maybe that is the registration year then! So maybe of no use at all. Anyone with a recently delivered car able to see what it comes up with and report back?

I have tried the Toyota.com website before and it just says “please enter a valid vin”. I suspect it’s only for USA cars, shame we haven’t a website for us

Mine arrived at the dealer yesterday according to the email received from Toyota. Checked the recall checker thingy with my VIN and it shows “no recalls” BUT no Year is listed. Ordered on 22 August and I am taking delivery on 1 March so I assume it will be a MY19.

Roll on 1 March!

My dealer said the same so if that’s right our cars were built before October, I hate the fact that you can’t get any information on the cars progress from order through to delivery.

Hi, my VIN has 0D as the 10th and 11th characters.  I think the last 6 digits of the VIN indicate the build number in that batch.  Without giving away your exact details what is the range of the last 6 digits?  Mine is between 050000 and 051000

We may be able to assume that numbers after yours are MY20. And numbers before yours could be MY19 or MY20.

Hi all,

I am informed that I will receive my Toyota Rav4 2.5 VVT-i Hybrid Dynamic CVT PaR/JBL+PVM 2WD that I ordered in June on Thursday 30/1/20.

I was wondering if anyone on here has recently received the same Dynamic model and whether it had the blue detailed stitching on the seats. Only ask because this was one of the things we liked about the car when we ordered it but the current brochure doesn't seem to show the same blue stitching in the photos.

I’m picking up the AWD version of this spec on Monday, so will let you know, but I do remember there were ‘free’ options on this model which included the seats and the wheels, there were no choices as such, just a standard upgrade. The seats are supposed to have this blue stitching, so I assume the dash will match.

I ordered in September so although the delay in delivery is crazy, you have had to wait for much longer it seems.

My excel AWD has arrived at the dealer 22/01/20 I’ve seen it and it’s lovely even thou it is wrapped in its packaging..

I won’t be able to see the car again until I collect it on the 1st March (20 plate will help with the future value)

My does NOT have Apple CarPlay I’m having to wait for the retro fit thing April/May

ive just ordered a RAV4 excel AWD, the estimated delivery date is the 1/7/20. Just wondering if anyone else waiting that long. Have heard there’s a high demand for them. Are the dates pretty accurate or anyone received sooner??

Hi, AVAS is MY20. Supposed to have been for builds from October 2019 onwards. One of the forum members (Yerpthatsaquiche) has it on their new car. I think it is mentioned in the previous page of this thread.

In NL, mats are included in the co-called "Delivery costs".
That includes among other things, €50 of petrol, cleaning and polishing of the car, registration, final inspection, recycling fee, and mats.
And yes, they are very fine mats embroidered with "RAV4 Hybrid".
In fact they are so nice, that I have them covered with a rubber mat, at least during the winter period. To protect them after having been through not-so-nice terrain. 😒

Looks LOVELY! That is the colour I order mine in and with the beige leather, but something made me change it next day to Decuma Grey with beige interior. Mine is in the garage 7th Feb, but I'm taking delivery on March 11th to get a 20 plate and because the 11th is my birthday. What better birthday present to me :) Seeing this has got me quite excited now. Enjoy your new car and many miles safe driving.  Oh, by the way, is the leather more cream or yellow in the flesh please? In photo's it looks more yellow than cream - thanks

That sounds about right, orders were quoted to me as end of May/early June on the AWD and September for the 2WD when I enquired on Friday last week.

Yes, mine - same spec - has taken six months. Ordered the start of August and have a delivery date of 7th February, but now collecting in March to get new plate as had to wait so long. I gather waiting times are now even longer than when I ordered, as they said sales have exceeded all expectations on this latest model

I ordered mine (AWD Excel) 26th September, it's been at the dealer for about a week. I was originally told mid March. 

I think the timing can also be influenced by the ship it gets on. I assume they have to fill a ship for the UK. Which I think is why a few of us are getting cars ordered within a 2 month or so range.

My Dynamic 2wd in Obsidian Blue arrived yesterday. The colour is lovely in the sunshine. The car drives beautifully. There is a mountain of functionality to setup though and the user manual is generic to the Rav4 so is a bit complicated.

 It has Rav4 Hybrid floormats but no AVAS despite being built in November 2019. So it is an MY19. Going to have Carplay installed at first service.   

Delivered 8 months to the day after ordering.
