Hi everyone.

I've tried searching about this topic, but didn't succeed.

So I own the Auris 1.8 Touring Sports Hybrid 2014. I just bought this and I can't figure out how to change the plate bulb. Can anyone help me with this or reffer to a video or something?

Thank you very much in advance.

There should be an access panel on the inside part of the boot door. Take it out, after that put your hand inside, and push the license plate light holder outside, disconnect cable, replace bulb, reinstall

That should be the general idea anyway.

That was what I was expecting, but there's no access panel for the plate bulbs from inside. There are access panels for tail lights only. I guess this Touring Sports is a little different from other Auris models?

The clips that hold them in place are not that strong. If you have some plastic removal tool, you can even do it from the outside, just needs a bit more force.

Each light has a small clip on left and right side, so might give that i try if no one replies,

Let's see if someone has an idea without the risk of breaking things. I will keep this in mind, thank you!

Do you have the full owners manual - usually around 500-600 pages.

If not, one can download it from https://www.toyota.co.uk/tme#/my-toyota/eManual (do a generic search).

Replacement of the licence plate lights should be covered in the full owners manual.

Thank you. It doesn't work for me. No vehicle found by my VIN-number.

As said by frosty, do a generic search based on your car date and month of manufacture

I don't know how your car actually looks like, so im attaching 2 versions.
