Class 1 Alarms

this is my first post as a first time celica owner, so please forgive me if I 've missed some previously imparted knowledge. I'm having a (sort of) problem with a microscan alarm - the sensitivity seems a bit high, in so much as it goes off everytime a car revs near it. To an extent I don't mind - the moronic little ****** kids in my area are gradually stopping using my car collection as goalposts because the vibration sensor seems to go off a couple of seconds before impact, so the chances of me suing their equally moronic parents are reducing by the day,but having spent a week at Le Mans being woken up every time a !Removed! Corvette hit the throttle (sorry to anyone on camping Vert obviously), I could really do with some guidance on reducing the sensitivity a little - can anyone help?

If you know where the place where the alarm was fitted you are best off going to them. The other way is to goto some kind of car alarm fitter in youre area, pretty sure they will tweak with it for a few quid.

Thanks guys,

Unfortunately I've got no idea about the location of any alarm parts, so I guess I've got to find a local expert - I would love to tear the whole system out if my insurance would stand it, so guess I'm stuck with my first big bill. :(

I wouldnt worry too much about the price, as I said before I think the guy will just have to "tweak" with it a little to change the sensitivity.

Good luck with it m8 ;)
