Hey folks, on the road to saving for my GT4 I just bought a Starlet Sportif from my bro. I was rather taken in by having a short blast around some trusty B roads!

Since I can't help myself tweaking my cars I've decided to do some work to her.

I haven't even taking delivery yet but have nabbed a set of white 5 spoke Enkei wheels.

What I'm looking for now are a few bits and peices, like an intake, exhaust, body kit and some shocks and springs.

I noticied that Fensport seem to be the only company that I can find that sells shocks (KYB) and I haven't really found anything body kit wise. Also some clear indicators would be nice but I think I will have source a toasted Glanza for them.

My car is a 1.3, 3dr in (I suppose) British racing green. I'ts a 1996 with the new shape head lamps so i think that makes it an EP91 model. The car has a complete service history with 8 stamps and has only done 20k so as you can imagine its mint!

Hope to hear from you guys! TIA

Hello.

KYB springs are available from lots of places. If you have a friendly motor factor near you, try asking them.

Bodykits are available from www.bodykit.co.nz, but the strong pound means that they are fairly affordable.

The best upgrade is a turbo upgrade - this turns the Starlet into a bit of a monster - no surprise the official Starlet Turbo is so popular. Its expensive, but in terms of £ per BHP it is good value and can be tweaked further.

That guide assumes you have the turbo version to start with.

Ah cheers guys I'll go looksie for those part numbers.

I've akways found TDI to be a bit on the expensive side, with their performance part prices. I'll probably end up doing a few bits and pieces to make the car a little fresher and handle a little better then either drop the turbo'd lump in or continue to put the money towards the GT4.

Thanks for the help.
