2018 Fortuner 2.7 EXR

Hi Guys

I could use some help. I am currently thinking of buying the Toyota Fortuner 2018 2.7 EXR. The car is used from showroom with 17,000k and comes with 3 years service history, free tinting and diamond bright paint/protection etc.

I took it for a test drive and it felt a little jumpy and jerky - the sales advisor told me that it is due to a small engine it struggles a little.

Is the engine reliable? Is it fuel friendly?

Would appreciate peoples thoughts on this. I am looking for a good family 4x4 and being an affordable 7 seater for me with a fairly big boot when all seats are down this looks good to me

We are a UK based club. Although the Fortuner is based on the Hilux (and probably shares the same engine), it has never been officially imported into the UK/Europe, so feedback from members will be limited.
