Great!

Could you give me a link to the product as I could use a tin of it?

I'd seriously wait a bit as the prices seem ridiculous at present, presumably due to COVID-19.

I've never had to regas aircon. Last car was Vauxhall astra, 14 years old, aircon was fine. I've always been religious about running it at least a few minutes a week all year round.  Keeps the oil circulated and seals wet

That isn't the stuff that is outlawed.

Under EU law, no person is allowed to buy refrigerant gases unless they are F-Gas registered.

I think I have already stated that about three times in previous posts.

Unfortunately no one else anywhere near would touch it, it’s actually booked in with Toyota Swansea on Monday

This is because most Re-Gassers have to use an automatic machine to carry out the process - They're not usually qualified Air Conditioning Engineers & are unable to carry out the process in the usual way (manually) in order to account for the differing oil requirement....

Incidentally, a system that has leaked refrigerant rarely leaks enough oil so as to need the oil level topping up in any event. It's basically a "Technically Feasible" notion that has been propagated by the re-gassing machine manufacturers....

Apologies - I thought You'd become confused bewteen "outlawed" refrigerants (IE. Now completely banned ) and the fact that ALL refrigerants now have to be handled by qualified and registered (F-gas or REFCOM) Engineers. My Mistake.
