Callers can barely hear me on phone

I know this is a problem probably solved in settings but I can't figure it out. My galaxy a50 phone works perfectly in every way except when I receive a call the caller can barely hear me though their volume for me is fine. How do I sort this out? Cheers in advance.

Hi, Make sure the microphone is not covered. Failing that it's straight forward in the settings menu.

Not sure where the microphone is! Went to general settings/volume/phone. Have increased something called phone out volume but not sure if it relates to increasing the volume at the other end when I'm speaking or the ringing at the other end.

For the microphone, look toward the interior light cluster/switch’s up near the windscreen on roof lining .
