Red Calliper Paint

Thanks to all those that helped me decide to have RED callipers,

i have got the paint, now what,

take of the wheel and using a wire brush clean up the callipers.

is is that simple, bearing in mind that I am going to attempt to do this myself. :blink:

Just make sure you give them a good scrubbing with the brush otherwise the paint doesnt stick as well and it looks tatty!

only paint the calipers and try not to let it run into the pads!

and dont paint the disc!

I am not that bad :P

after I have used the wire brush should I put masking tape behind the calliper on the disk???

I am assuming the pad is on ther other side of the calliper, :eek: I have never looked too closely at my callipers TBH.

yes the pad is inside the caliper

just put thin multipul coats on. dont lash gallons on in one shot or youll risk it doing so

did I really say that OMG but serioulsy it is true,

I asked my general car bloke how much he would charge to clean and paint my callipers he quoted 15 quid per wheel :eek:

S*d that so I am doing it myself. :thumbsup::yes:
