i dont personally know but the only thing i can think of is looking in your handbook with the car and find out what plugs it has and email that manufacture. the same question.

Just out of interest why do you need to know the gap? I was just under the asumption that if the plugs could go in the seo that the gap would be the correct one?!?!

Hope that kinda helps. ;)

gap size is .035. we pulled out the stock plugs and measured the gap from tip to contact point, and then made sure the new plugs were adjusted correctly, which they already were. put them in this afternoon, and i think there's a little difference but not much. then again, i wasn't expecting much.

Whilst i was an apprentice used to get boloked for not checking them and using that excuse, reasoning was what if they've been dropped in shipping. the lil cardboard things should dtop it, but if ur gonna do a job may as well do it rite.

just out of intrest what torque does everyone have the spark plugs tightened to??

and does anyone know a good alternative to genuine toyota HT Leads? (by good alternative i mean just as good but cheaper), are the universal leads that you can pick up at Halfords anygood?

Also how much did you spend on your irid plugs?, I just spent 44 quid for set of stock toyota ones, might aswell have gone for them trd ones.

Anyway...

i've always sworn by Bosch, the super 4 thingys have a preset gap

i have set mine to 24Nm, or hand tighten and then another 1/16turn for new plugs or 3/8 turn for old plugs

i just felt the torque to as close to how it was when i removed the stocks. I spent $35 on the Iridiums, and bought them on eBay. Not a bad price at all, i thought
